TRAVEL & ENTERTAINMENT: Feinstein’s at the Nikko in S.F. Adds Performance Dates for Tony Award Winner Lena Hall and Broadway Giants Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp

Jan 11, 2019
Due to popular demand, Feinstein’s at the Nikko in San Francisco has added performance dates for Tony Award winner Lena Hall with her acclaimed one-woman show, “Art of the Audition: From Falling Apart to Nailing the Part” on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 8 p.m. and Broadway giants Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp with their hit-show “Acoustically Speaking – A 20-Year Friendship” on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at 8 p.m.

Experience the ups and downs of a Broadway life through reenactments of Lena Hall’s most unforgettable—and regrettable—musical theater auditions, from epic fails to career-defining “nailed it!” moments. Under the musical direction of Sean Alexander Bart, “Art of the Audition” will feature songs from “Wicked,” “Cats,” “Sweeney Todd,” “Les Misérables,” “The Phantom of the Opera,” “Rent,” and more.

Lena Hall is a Tony Award winner and Grammy nominee who recently received widespread critical acclaim for her feature film debut in the title role of “Becks” (winner of the U.S. Fiction Award at the L.A. Film Festival).

Then, on April 18, in an intimate unplugged show, Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp will deliver solo sets featuring both original tunes and songs that have influenced their lives, capped off by performing a few of the iconic hits from where it all began—“RENT.” Fans everywhere relate to the theme and stories of “RENT” and certainly have connected with the characters and the actors who portrayed them. From the original cast, Adam and Anthony have remained close friends, while each have gone on to do additional great work in film and on Broadway.

Located within Hotel Nikko (222 Mason Street, San Francisco), Feinstein’s at the Nikko presents a wide range of entertainers from stage and screen all within an intimate 140-seat cabaret setting. Past performers include Tony Danza, Lea Salonga, Megan Hilty, Minnie Driver, Jeff Goldblum, Billy Porter, Caissie Levy, Darren Criss, Megan Mullally and Stephanie Hunt, Jim Brickman, Kathleen Turner, Linda Eder, Betty Buckley, Cheyenne Jackson, Rita Moreno, Tommy Tune…and Michael Feinstein himself!
